The Headshot 

Adults usually hate to have their picture taken, but you should make the time at least every five years. You don't want to have people who meet you after seeing your picture say, "Oh, you're much older than I thought." :-)

You might need a current head shot for your company directory or your business website. You might want one for your social media account or even a dating site. 

Another thing to think about, even though it is not a pleasant thought... what about a picture for your funeral or your obituary? Obviously, we never know when that will be necessary. Haven't you looked at the obituary of a person with the picture of a fifty-year-old and then realized the person they are writing about was eighty-five?

For this photo shoot to be a success, you will want to think about your wardrobe.  Do you want to look professional or like you are on vacation? It is better to wear plain colored clothing rather than plaids and checks as we want to emphasize your face rather than your clothes. 

Men will want to get their hair cut one to two weeks before the shoot. Women will want to schedule a hair and make-up session on the morning of the shoot, if you are not comfortable doing your own.

I shoot in natural light, either out doors or in a building with a window. My number one priority as your head shot  photographer is to capture  you in beautiful, natural photos that reflect your happiness and  contentment.
